WWE NXT Superstar Dexter Lumis is reportedly suffering from a legitimate ankle injury.

Lumis last competed on the July 29 NXT episode, where he defeated Finn Balor and Timothy Thatcher in the Triple Threat qualifier main event for “Takeover: XXX” and the Ladder Match for the vacant NXT North American Title. WWE then announced in the July 31 NXT Injury Report that Lumis suffered an osteochondral lesion of the talus in that match, or an ankle injury. They noted then that he would be undergoing further testing. It was then announced on Tuesday, August 4 that Lumis’ injury was worse than previously reported. The next night on the weekly NXT show it was announced that Lumis had been pulled from the Ladder Match at Takeover, due to the injury.

Bryan Alvarez recently noted on the F4Wonline.com message board that the injury to Lumis is legitimate. There is no word yet on when Lumis will be back in action, or if he will need surgery.

What’s worse is Lumis reportedly suffered the ankle injury doing the flip to the outside of the ring, which was heavily edited for the broadcast.

As seen below, the flip spot came early in the match after Lumis interrupted an exchange between Thatcher and Balor, sending them to the floor. He ran the ropes and flew out, sticking the landing between the two competitors. The match continued and eventually went to the first commercial break. The show returned from the break and Tom Phillips noted on commentary that Lumis had suffered an ankle injury before the break. Lumis continued working and ended up winning the match by making Thatcher pass out in the Silence submission.

Ma figurati, il mio non era un assolutamente un attacco personale, men che meno nei tuoi confronti (che anzi argomenti sempre bene sulle tue idee, che in questo caso - anche riguardo a Lumis, per dire - possono essere tutte valide, proprio perchè connotate da una marcata soggettività).

Semmai criticavo quell'aprioristica accusa verso personaggi che, proprio perchè piacciono a vari utenti nonostante le carenze in ring, sembrano invece non meritare la minima attenzione e, anzi, provocano (pare) quasi un'indignazione per il solo fatto di avere una fanbase. Mi pare un attimino esagerato, ecco..

PS: Lumis, fra l'altro, non sarà certamente una cima in ring, ma tutta questa orticaria provocata dal suo lottato non la percepisco, perlomeno ad NXT (comunque non ha fatto molti match in WWE, e non mi pronuncio sul fu Shaw, che non ho seguito).

Non è che è perché non piace a vari utenti, ma è un personaggio che non ha senso/spiegazioni: facce brutte, spia la gente e non parla. Chi è? Perché agisce così? Spiegazioni zero.
Wyatt, per anni e per lo stesso identico motivo, qui dentro è stato preso a bordate di cazzi in faccia. E a ragione, direi, benché lo abbia sempre apprezzato extra ring.
Ma Lumis no, Lumis è figo e si marka. Va beh.
E non sto parlando di utenti in particolare, ma è stata un'idea largamente diffusa su Bray e trovo quantomeno "anomalo" questa diversità di percezione.
Sarà che è la novità, saranno i baffi, sarà la leccata platinata sulla testa, che ne so...

Ma frega anche nulla che è una sega, mica sto parlando di abilità in ring (che a me interessano il giusto, tra l'altro, e non faccio il contasuplex pure agli arbitri).
Solo che non capisco sta larga markata ad uno, quando un altro con le stesse falle (extra ring, ripeto) veniva e viene anche ora sotterrato di merda (e ripeto ancora: a ragione).
