Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread

Beck18 ha scritto: ↑08/07/2025, 21:21 "Tony Khan has learned that you want people in your locker room that not only want to be there, but are worthy of being there. We’ve had a lot of guys in the past come in and think they are going to be king shit just because they had their time in the sun for a millisecond in other promotions. That’s not it fucking works. It’s called All Elite Wrestling. Not All Average Wrestling. Not All Mediocre Wrestling. Not All… I’m going to show up, cash a check and expect to be world champion wrestling. It’s All ELITE Wrestling. Right now, everyone in that locker room is on the same page. We aren’t coming there to cash a check. We aren’t coming to give 50%. We’re all giving 110%”

Darby Allin says he doesn't necessarily need the AEW World Championship to feel vindicated:
“I told Tony before I went to Everest, ‘I already feel like I’m the champion of the world. I don’t need the championship belt to feel validated because I’m already winning in life. I feel so free and happy. I’m grateful for everything.'”

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
Notizia meno bella.
"I have never said I'm retiring the championships," Khan said. "The Unified AEW Championship is something that is new to us, never before have two AEW singles championships been held by the same wrestler at the same time. It's something very new." The AEW President then expressed how proud he is of both championships but clarified that the Continental Classic Tournament is still an important factor in AEW, and will continue going forward. "We'll have an awesome Continental Classic to look forward to later in the year."
Additionally, Khan explained that the lineage for the new unified belt will be separate and emphasized that the belt is there to symbolize the "winner takes all" nature of the match with Okada and Omega. "The belt itself represents the two champions that have gotten us to this point," he added. "The rivalry between Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega is something that predates AEW, it's something that — in my opinion — represents one of the best one-on-one rivalries in all of wrestling."

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
I created one Unified Championship belt to represent not only the significance of this match, the winner take all nature, that there would be one person carrying the lineage of these two championships after the match. The belt itself represents the two champions who have gotten us to this point. Those two championships remain, their lineages remain, and the champion may even choose to carry all three championship belts. I wanted to create something special around this match and event.”
Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
Molto meno contorto
