Nella sostanza cosa può portare di così importante?

Perchè è una leggenda del wrestling.

Ti porta esperienza, ti porta creatività, ha lavorato in WWE quindi magari ti può dire cosa migliorare nel backstage e nel processo gestionale. E' una persona rispettata da chiunque, wrestler e non wrestler.

Ti può far da mentore per qualcuno, figura on screen. Può fare tante cose, tranne salire sul ring.

Edit: Foley avrebbe dato completa disponibilità, dal backstage, creative, ruoli da host e pure fare da ambassador della compagnia. Direi perfetto.

Per me è la cosa migliore che potesse capitare all'AEW. E azzarderei anche al movimento wrestling in generale.
Oh, però se tante leggende del wrestling vogliono restare in AEW anche con ruoli manageriali o di backstage (Big Show, Copeland, Danielson, Hero, Jericho lo contiamo? Roberts è ancora lì?), qualcosa vorrà pur dire.
Qualcuno dirà che è perché lì non c'è qualcuno di autorevole che ti possa dire "no" e c'è libertà di potere, stile WCW... Ma io voglio credere che invece sia per aspetti positivi.
Oppure "semplicemente" trovano più interessante l'idea di poter costruire qualcosa di nuovo anziché prolungare qualcosa che è già grande (la WWE), che ha il suo passato glorioso, la sua realtà solidificata, e anzi si rifugia troppo spesso nel suo passato d'oro vivendone di rendita.

“I think it was maybe like a Comic-Con or it was a something that me and my mom went to meet Moxley. There’s this photo and the internet has seen it. I tried to bury it and hide it, but they found it. I have neon pink hair. My mom took me out of school so that we can go meet Moxley.

I was terrified. I walked up to him and I was like, ‘I want to be a wrestler one day. I’m gonna train to be a wrestler one day.’ I don’t remember exactly what he said, but he like smiled. It was very quick. I was just so anxious the whole time.

I remember walking away from that and I told my mom, ‘I’m gonna work with him one day.’ And she was like, ‘If you put your mind to it, I’m sure you can.’ I had already proved how stubborn I was. I had started training. And then now I work with the man and I can pick his brain about wrestling, and I can get feedback from him.

The other day I had walked past him in the hallway and he was like, ‘Good job, kid.’ That is… little kid me was screaming in the back of my brain. It was like the little full circle thing and I was like, ‘Holy crap.’”

Skye Blue ha un potenziale enorme, anche superiore a quello di Julia Hart, ma se vogliono farla emergere devono toglierla dall'ombra di Thekla.
