Re: Jon Moxley is back
Jon Moxley è stato intervistato da Melter per il WOR
Qui l'estratto gratuito di 5 minuti, dove dice la sua sul Thunderdome e di come gli ha ricordato subito Fahrenheit 451 di Ray Bradbury.

Re: Jon Moxley is back
Jon Moxley had very ambitious plans for 2020. He laid everything out and you can read about it here. His plan was to bounce back and forth to Japan several times, but the COVID-19 pandemic put an end to that.
Foreigners can still go to Japan, but they must quarantine for two weeks. Moxley simply doesn’t have that kind of time to sit in Japan and prove he doesn’t have coronavirus.
On Friday night, KENTA defeated David Finlay and he challenged Moxley to an IWGP United States Title match. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that is a “unique situation.” He then stated that there are no current plans to bring Moxley back to Japan due to the pandemic’s new protocol.
“As of, I can’t say this minute, but as of 24 hours ago there’s no match, no date — nothing. Obviously a lot of people want it to happen. New Japan wants it to happen — KENTA’s already done his promo — Moxley wants to face KENTA. The problem is that he can’t go to Japan right now because there’s two weeks of quarantine and he can’t go. In theory, he’s not allowed to wrestle for New Japan in the United States.”
It was said that “someone’s gonna compromise, or someone’s not gonna compromise.” AEW won’t allow Moxley to wrestle for NJPW in the United States. Right now the situation seems to be up in the air, but Moxley is still the United States Champion in NJPW
AEW might need to allow Moxley to wrestle for NJPW in the United States, or perhaps, they could allow him to lose the IWGP United States Title to KENTA on Dynamite. That match would likely draw a big viewership number, but it wouldn’t make much sense at all as far as AEW’s storylines are concerned.
Another option is if MJF can beat Moxley at All Out, he then takes a 2-week break to go back to Japan and take care of his title obligations. Moxley already had to relinquish that title due to Typhoon Hagibis. He doesn’t want to lose it a second time because of a pandemic.

"We were going to go to Honolulu, for a vacation, and it just so happened that Josh was fighting in Bellator. We were going to have dinner with Josh the night before and everything was fine. At this point, I'm scheduled to wrestle Josh at Bloodsport in April. This is December. This is an advantageous opportunity to get some press behind this thing. Josh is like, 'After the match, I'll do a promo. You jump in the cage, we do our business and promote Bloodsport. We'll make sure everyone is aware and you don't get arrested.' I was assuming (he would win). The details weren't clear, but I wasn't going to be a wuss. If I said I was going to follow through, I would follow through, even if I got arrested. I was set to jump in the cage at Bellator and start talking shit. Security or cops be damned. I was just hoping the whole Bellator locker room didn't empty and beat the fuck out of me"
Non so dove sia il topic di Bloodsport quindi posto qui.
Mox che dice che fosse pronto a essere picchiato dal locker room della Bellator fa sorridere.
