Riuppo così da commentare e modificare alcune cose:

- Wrestler of the year: Zack Sabre Jr.: ero indeciso fino all'ultimo tra Sabre, Swerve e Rhodes, alla fine opto per l'inglese. Se ad inizio anno mi avessero detto che avrebbe fatto la doppietta (G1 + titolo) non ci avrei mai creduto.

Madò vero, Sabre! È che l'NJPW è un po' un punto interrogativo, si sta tutti in attesa di una nuova direzione chiara e quindi sembrano nella melassa, quando in realtà non lo sono così tanto (rispetto alla TNA sono l'ECW del 1995).

Tra le delusioni che non ho ancora visto nominate cito Mustafà Alì: partito a cannone, onnipresente, mega regno X-Division, poi sparito nel nulla.

Puzza un po' che non sono andati All In con la vittoria del titolo al Dome. Però boh, per me Umino non ne esce campione. Probabilmente hanno accelerato anche per levare l'ormai bollito Naito dal Main Event.

Wrestler of the year: Cody Rhodes
Tag Team of the year: Young Bucks
Match of the year: Ospreay-Danielson (AEW Dynasty)
Feud of the year: Hangman-Swerve (ho apprezzato molto McIntyre-Punk, che scommetto vincerà questo premio un po' ovunque, e anche con merito, soprattutto per il fatto che siano riusciti a creare qualcosa dall'infortunio prolungato di Punk, e siano riusciti a tenerlo vivo con vari stratagemmi nel corso dei mesi; nonostante ciò non l'ho visto come un feud di quelli veramente "memorabili", con qualche approfondimento psicologico o promo con approfondimenti dei personaggi; alla fine cosa credo che venga apprezzato è appunto la longevità e la sensazione di "grandezza" che sono riusciti a dargli, anche con il primo vero HIAC da molto tempo giustificato dalla stipulazione; già, in casa WWE, il feud Cody-Reigns-Rocky l'ho trovato più profondo e memorabile; Hangman-Swerve, pur avendo avuto il suo picco molto breve, ha sviluppato molto i due personaggi, soprattutto Hangman, e creato dei momenti shockanti e veramente memorabili, su tutti l'incendio della casa di Swerve)

Heel of the year: Hangman Adam Page (non tanto per i risultati o le vittorie, che anzi sono state poche, ma perché fra tutti i personaggi mi sembra più quello entrato nel lato oscuro, ed è consapevole di ciò; menzione per McIntyre, che ha fatto un lavoro egregio con Punk e spero che possa essere premiato l'anno prossimo, magari battendo Cody per il titolo)

Best female: Toni Storm
Best in-ring performer: Will Ospreay
Best on mic: CM Punk
Best gimmick: Timeless Toni Storm
PPV / iPPV / PLE of the year: WrestleMania 40 (non tanto per i match, che come qualità secondo me sono stati inferiori rispetto all'edizione precedente, ma per la sensazione di grandezza che ci ha regalato)
Comeback of the year: Roman Reigns a SummerSlam
Promo of the year: Hangman-Swerve nell'episodio post All In
Moment/segment of the year: sono veramente indeciso, vogliate perdonarmi un pari merito tra Rocky che aggredisce Cody (quello di "mama Rhodes"), e quello di Hangman che brucia la casa di Swerve

Worst PPV / iPPV / Special Event: Elimination Chamber
Worst feud: Cole Vs MJF ( peggior feud di sempre della AEW , hanno distrutto l’unico Cole interessante e fatto scazzare MJF ) e Morgan vs Ripley ( scaduto da due mesi e scritto pure peggio )
Worst promotion: AEW ( quanto potenziale sprecato )
Worst turn: Cole che turna Face e Gable che turna Heel , finendo entrambi affossati
Worst female: Bailey campionessa e Mercedes Monet ( per l’attesa , scrittura e interesse )
Overrated wrestler of the year: Chad Gable ( in relazione al paragone con Kurt Angle quando tra I due c’è una differenza di charisma e mic di un paio di categorie )
Underrated wrestler of the year: Briscoe e Kaiser
Worst treatment of the year: Mark Briscoe che stagna con Jericho
Worst gimmick: MJF che turna e regredisce a quello degli inizi della AEW , Gli Uso e Zayn che vogliono aiutare Reigns dopo le angherie subite
Most disappointing wrestler of the year: Jade Cargill ( a oggi la vera sola tirata da Khan alla WWE ma resto convinto che alla fine verrà trovato il modo di salvarla , magari usandola come Goldberg della categoria)
Worst newcomer/rookie: Tanga Loa e Hook ( Il secondo per la moda devastante e l’hype che si porta dietro , il primo agghiacciante )
