Career Mode is great. It's extremely long and you have the freedom to do what you want. You can win and lose the main title as many times as you want without the idiotic fast forward to retirement. You can choose to partner up with someone then turn heel on them. If the game chooses a rival for you that you don't want, you can refuse to engage and pick your own from the entire roster.
Universe Mode. I love the personality features. You can make someone a coward and they will try to get DQ'd to keep their title or walk out on fights. Status Effects are a great addition. You can get slightly injured 1 week and it persists through the next. If the next opponent targets your injury, he can put you on the shelf for months. I hate not being able to defend titles outside of rivalries. Never take options away from players.
The roster is massive (even though some important people are missing) and it's almost all unlocked from the time you boot up the game.
The matches feel really good. There's alot of variety added by the different positions you can perform moves from. There's a difference whether your opponent is prone, seated, kneeling, etc. That being said, I miss elimination matches. I enjoy 3-way and 4-way dances with elimination rules. Not game breaking but I want those back.
Overall, it's a very fun game that IMO isn't quite finished.
There's no single story. It's more of a stream of universe style rivalries with a bit more variety. For example, Renee asked me how I feel about The Authority. I praised them and then I started to get cutscenes with Seth Rollins running away from Ryback. I was still face at the time so I was given the chance to help or stay out of it. I chose to help Seth. This didn't turn me heel instantly but it added to my "Aggressive" personality rating. I got booked to tag with Seth vs Ryback and Ziggler. After we won, Seth flips out and beats down Ryback. He yells to me that I should hold Ryback for a curb stomp. I can again choose to help or not. I chose to help and turned heel. The authority now likes me and my relationship stat with Seth went up. He's the current WWE champ so he tried to talk me into going into a tag team title run with him instead of going after his belt.
