Purtroppo niente AEW qui da noi su DAZN Italia, in virtù degli accordi già in corso con Sky. Peccato, perché adesso che c'è il pacchetto DAZN Start (13 Euro al mese, tutti gli sport del servizio tranne il calcio), avere 2 show di wrestling ad un unico prezzo sarebbe stata na roba mica da sottovalutare.

Niente male (la WWE 195 milioni), considerato l'acquisto della ROH e Fight Forever.

Non escludo a sto punto che l'acquisto della ROH sia avvenuto proprio in ottica di lancio per un servizio di streaming, sia per aggiungere materiale alla libreria, sia per gli show settimanali. Dai che magari così aumentano il numero di PPV all'anno.

Rumours persist about CM Punk’s future with some even suggesting that he could make a sensational return to WWE if his contract situation with AEW is resolved. However, it doesn’t look like that would be universally appreciated.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW needs a top babyface and doesn’t think that will be Punk but interestingly commented that Punk could be available for a return in a couple of months following recovery from his injury in his title bout with Jon Moxley:

“They are lacking in that babyface position something fierce. They had a shot with MJF, obviously, they did the double-cross on that. And MJF was great as a heel tonight, but they don’t have ‘the guy’.”

“Punk’s not gonna be the guy either. I know some people might say, ‘Well Punk’s coming back’… Punk may come back. He will be available to come back if they want to use him in a couple of months. It’s not like it’s so far in the future. And of course, if they were to bring Punk back, that opens up a lot of other issues that we can talk about another day.”

Meltzer also noted that several current members of the AEW roster are unavailable to appear on television at the moment.
