Appena finito di riascoltare To Pimp a Butterfly e ho dovuto cambiare idea, per quanto apprezzi Tetsuo & Youth il miglior album rap dell'anno è quello di Kendrick.

Visto che qui non sono stati nominati, dell'ultimo anno consiglio tantissimo la doppietta dei Beach House Depression Cherry-Thank Your Lucky Stars, entrambi meritano tanto.
Mi è piaciuto molto anche Art Angels di Grimes.

Visto che qui non sono stati nominati, dell'ultimo anno consiglio tantissimo la doppietta dei Beach House Depression Cherry-Thank Your Lucky Stars, entrambi meritano tanto.

Thank Your Lucky Stars l'ho preso il giorno stesso dell'uscita, fidandomi dei Beach House, l'ho ascoltato solo un paio di volte perchè poi gli impegni mi hanno fatto rimandare ascolti più attenti su tutto... infatti non ricordo se sono riuscito a mettere un pezzo di quel disco nella mia Top130 (che è diventata nel frattempo 132) però appena l'avrò ascoltato meglio rimedierò di certo.

Anzi, uscendo dalla mia pigrizia ho controllato: dei Beach House attualmente in Classifica c'è solo Myth, al dodicesimo posto. Come immaginavo, Thank Your Lucky Stars l'ho ascoltato troppo distrattamente per farmene un'idea chiara ma ricordo che al primo ascolto m'era già piaciuto assai.

Rimedierò e nel caso modificherò.

P.s. vi è arrivata la prima parte (le prime sei ore) di 7 Skies H3. Stasera mando la seconda parte.

Sarò di parte ma secondo me Blackbird degli Alter Bridge non può essere inclusa in una Top 10 dal 2000 in poi. Ma ci sono anche altre grandi pezzi fatti da loro tratti dall'ultimo album del 2013.

Penso ancora che Myth sia il loro pezzo migliore, a ricordo, senza riascoltare nulla (quindi al 99% dimentico qualcosa) ho preferito Depression Cherry a Thank Your Lucky Star - si tratta comunque di due album che ho apprezzato MOLTO.

I primi pezzi di Thank Your Lucky Star che mi vengono da consigliare sono She's So Lovely e Majorette, la mia preferita è She's So Lovely. Comunque dovrei riascoltare (o almeno controllare la tracklist ) per consigliare con più certezza. Belle anche Rough Song e Common Girl.
Depression Cherry mi è piaciuto ancora di più come detto, sono nove canzoni, relativamente poche, ed essenzialmente per me sono belle tutte. La prima che mi viene da consigliare d'impulso è Space Song.

Deludente il disco nuovo dei Porches

Devo ancora ascoltarlo e lo farò quanto prima, ma era chiaro come Aaron stesse spingendo davvero troppo su quei suoni lì anche per i suoi standard, sennò un contratto con la Domino non lo strappi mica. Cioè, il Porches che piace a me resta questo qui:
