Ha messo in chiaro che non avrebbe rinnovato il contratto mesi prima, la chiusura del feud è stata perfetta nel senso che era una closure ottima per una che non sarebbe più tornata.

Oggi sono 14 anni dalla pipebomb di Punk del 2011, forse il momento (durato 1 mese) più di fibrillazione in tutto il mio periodo da fan e appassionato di wrestling.

Ho ritrovato il messaggio postato dal me 14enne sul topic apposito della puntata di Raw del tempo, dire che ho cringiato è poco ma sono comunque documenti storici da un certo punto di vista

Cita altre compagnie di wrestling, saluta Colt Cabana, smerda in tutto e per tutto Cena, la famiglia Mcmahon,Hulk Hogan. Mentre finiva il promo, quando il microfono è stato spento e la trasmissione è stata interrotta,ho subito pensato, che fosse tutto shoot, e che quindi avremmo dovuto salutare Punk dopo queste parole non proprio d'amore. Poi accendo il computer, vado su internet e cosa leggo?
Che era tutto un work!!
Che felicità, mi sono chiesto come mai Vince avesse permesso a Punk di dire tutta quella roba.
Vince Mcmahon ha guadagnato un po di punti con noi fans.

This isn’t sour grapes. But the fact that Dwayne is in the main event at WrestleMania next year and I’m not makes me sick!

Oh hey, let me get something straight. Those of you who are cheering me right now, you are just as big a part of me leaving as anything else. E onestamente dubito pure che perda in maniera completamente pulita.

Paradossalmente potrebbe invece portare tanta gente a guardarlo perchè effettivamente è un match dall'esito incerto, tra rumor vari e "analisi" varie può andare in un verso o nell'altro

Anche perchè non è che possono farlo perdere di nuovo con le interferenze o con lui che si rifiuta di colpirlo con la cintura o di fare qualcosa di "scorretto". E onestamente dubito pure che perda in maniera completamente pulita.

Ma poi ancora più considerato che dice "at the end of last year", cioè il periodo in cui ha avuto l'unico altro feud rilevante di questo biennio (quello con Mina Shirakawa). Secondo me se non ha sbagliato a identificare il periodo si riferisce al fatto che dal ritorno di Toni Storm la gente ha parlato di più di quest'ultima che della campionessa.
