Cosa c'entra?

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
ROH Death Before Dishonor was moved from September 5 to August 29 so Tony Khan could attend MJF and Alicia Atout's wedding.
"Originally, Death Before Dishonor was supposed to be Friday night and they quietly moved it up a week, and it was because Tony Khan wanted to go to Max’s wedding, and Tony Khan is not going to miss a show. So if he’s not going to be there, because they wanted him at the wedding, then in fact there cannot be a show on September 5th. I know a lot of people knew they switched it and didn't know why."

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread

No vabbè.

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
Tony Khan says he believes 2025 has been AEW’s best year yet:
“I think AEW is having our best year so far. From January through now in September, this has been the strongest run of wrestling we’ve ever had.
We’ve accomplished so much in 2025. We hit our biggest crowd in North America with All In: Texas. We broke the record for most wrestling fans ever at the London O2 with Forbidden Door. We’re about to pack All Out in Toronto with a huge crowd. And week to week, the TV shows have been really strong.
When you look at the roster we have right now and the quality of the shows we’re delivering, if we keep this pace, I think 2025 will go down as our best year yet and set us up for an even bigger 2026.”
(Interview w/ @battlegroundihr)

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
Bully Ray criticized AEW’s tribute video for Taz, calling it "nothing more than damage control" and "covering their a**," specifically pointing to Tony Khan’s involvement. He emphasized, "I'm not on board," and expressed willingness to defend this stance even if he were "all alone on an island." Bully highlighted issues with the presentation, stating, "the body language is off. The tone was off," and questioned why the same message was repeated multiple times, interpreting it as an attempt to forcefully convey Tony’s point that he acted out of respect and love for Taz: "Tony going 'I'm the good guy. I wanted to do this, because I love Taz. And I thought it would be great TV. But Taz said he didn't want it. So I want to respect his wishes, and not do it.'" He concluded by reiterating, "I'm just not on board."

Re: All Elite Wrestling - Official Thread
"AEW seemed like a good place to work, great vibes, and Tony Kahn seemed like the best boss to work for. He gets a lot of critics talking about him online...
I sat and I watched Tony for 30 minutes and every wrestler that came out of that ring, he got up from his producing chair, took his headphones off, made sure every one of them was healthy and happy with the the match that they had just had.
You can tell when someone cares as opposed to when someone's going through the motions."
