Probabilmente far fuori Garp dalla marina avrebbe significato portare il popolo a "farsi delle domande" e questo avrebbe dato fastidio al Governo Mondiale.

Dal canto suo, Garp "accetta" di restare in un sistema corrotto perchè la sua posizione era il posto migliore per provare a cambiare le cose. E questo magari può essere provato dal suo continuo rifiuto di promozioni o unirsi a Roger e diventare un pirata.

Marineford è complicata.

Garp era combattuto. Se Ace fosse stato salvato non credo che se ne sarebbe avuto a male, ma il suo ruolo gli imponeva di star nella marina.
Sengoku, conoscendo Garp, non era sicuro se sarebbe rimasto fedele ai suoi ideali oppure avrebbe buttato tutta all'aria per Ace causando un casino epocale.

Comunque una roba che è passata un po' sottotraccia è Xebec che ha chiamato Imu "re dei ratti".
Che è un termine che si riferisce a questo fenomeno qua, immagino:

Ora, a cosa si riferiva esattamente? Al fatto che Imu controlli ammassi di persone con il suo potere, come aveva appena fatto con il Clan Davy? Oppure, come sostengono alcuni online, è un indizio più "raffinato" sulla possibile natura di Imu? Forse in realtà si tratta di più persone/coscienze fuse assieme? Potrebbe trattarsi dei re del passato che si sono uniti contro il Regno Antico?

E meno male che all'inizio di sta storia, quando vennero introdotti, le giustificazioni erano: "eh, ma il mondo di OP è frammentato e non c'era ancora l'informazione globale", "eh, ma i pirati sono iniziati a diventare famigerati con l'epopea di Roger", "eh, ma al cittadino medio di OP che gli frega dei pirat, per lui Rocks o altri erano solo dei nomi al tempo", etc. etc.

Aspetto l'uscita del capitolo per capire bene questa reazione dei "citizens" alla morte di Rocks. Diventerebbe ancora meno sensato il fatto che nel giro di una quarantina d'anni se lo sia dimenticato il mondo intero.

Il Governo e Morgans fanno uscire una versione distorta della realtà che fa passare Garp come eroe.
Poi, si, immagino che in 40 anni l'argomento non sia più stato toccato.
